Greetings, I'm Angela Anderson, the founder and owner of "Angie's Lactation Consulting, Home Visits, LLC."

My journey into the world of lactation consulting began after I graduated as a Registered Nurse from Grayson County College. At that pivotal moment, I was faced with the decision of where to start my nursing career. Through prayer and divine guidance, I embarked on an internship in a level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). It was within the walls of the NICU that I discovered my true calling - assisting mothers in their journey to provide nourishment for their babies, whether through pumping or direct breastfeeding.

In 2014, I achieved the significant milestone of becoming an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) after completing 1000 hours of clinical practice, 90 hours of in-person and online training, and successfully passing the certification exam. My dedication to supporting mothers didn't stop there. I continued to work in various women's health roles, including postpartum nursing and labor and delivery nursing, all the while helping mothers navigate the challenges of breastfeeding.

With a wealth of experience spanning 11 years as an IBCLC and a remarkable 21 years working closely with mothers and babies, I am committed to bringing my expertise and passion to assist you on your breastfeeding journey.
